Join the PAA Book Club
For some time, PAA has been having its own discussions about poverty, race and educational opportunity. We’ve gathered some important facts, collaborated on profound research, created some useful materials, and shared them in webinars and workshops. Dr. P.L. Thomas, renown professor at Fordham University has mentored us along the way.
Our first book club reading will be his latest book, Beware the Roadbuilders; Literature as Resistance. Diane Ravitch calls P. L. Thomas “the conscience of American education. He is our North Star.” If you have never heard him speak or engaged him in conversation, you are in for a treat. He will be joining us for the book discussion!
Join us, won’t you . . .
